Your favourite Dark Knight is here!!! This 11x17 inch portrait art of Batman comes to life in my newest realism pencil drawing! These iconic comic book characters have been such a big part of my life, through my own collecting of comic books and learning to draw from comics -this series is a labour of love and tribute to a medium I love so much!
All About Details!
These new pencil drawings are the most detailed portrait artwork to date. These characters were larger than life to me growing up, and wanted to draw them as such, hence the larger scales!
Making These Icons Come To Life!
Making these characters come to life was something I wanted to achieve in these new pencil drawings. I wanted these comic art portraits to be as real to the viewer as they are for me. New techniques such as powders and brushes were used to draw the realistic contouring, and battery operated erasers for textures, details were used to create Batman.
