Ok 80's fans-introducing my newest blank sketch cover commission featuring your favourite decepticon! Megatron is being drawn with inks from Molotow black liner pens and Ad Marker Spectra alcohol markers!

"Is it possible to bring realism to something like Transformers?" My answer is YES! Anything can be realistic-even comic book type art! For this new comic art cover I'm using my favourite markers-Spectra alcohol markers! These markers are ideal for blending, and combining with other drawing mediums such as liner pens, graphite, and coloured pencils. The first part of the drawing is laying down the base colours....

Spectra alcohol markers work well with card stock paper but it's important to place another sheet of yardstick under the cover as to protect the interior of the comic book. All books are drawn with special care as some books get submitted for grading. To get into the tiny nooks and crannies of the figure I can switch from a chisel nib, brush or fine line tip! The first stage of this comic book cover is simply to lay down all the lights and darks....the next stage will be building up the layers...
